Welcome to our classroom
The Kozy Koalas is the youngest room at the daycare. The childcare teachers work together to create a loving and nurturing environment for our children aged 2 weeks to 18 months.
We have an organized day, consisting of: meal/snack time, outdoor/gross motor time, arts and crafts, nap time, fine motor time, music time, and quiet time. Our room focuses on language development through books, flashcards, music and constant verbal interaction.
In gross motor, we have outdoor play, ride on cars, pushing toys and play house as the children are just learning how to use their new skills. We also have strollers so the children go on walks and visit local parks.
Our fine motor play includes table top activities, building blocks, playing instruments, arts and crafts, water and sand table play, and feeding themselves!
We look forward to the day when each one of the children graduates to the next room having learned so many new skills needed for their next step in development.
